Ringo Starr, winner of the Welara Registries second annual Year-End High Point awards program with purse for 2007. Ringo Starr is a talented and versatile registered Welara gelding with much potential. Owned by Tammie Monaco, My Nifty Farm, Sparks Glenco, Maryland. Under the Welara Registries point value system, Ringo Starr acquired 145 points during the 2007 show season.

Ringo Starr had a fabulous show season, especially for a two year old! "Sparky" as he's known around the farm, competed in Half Welsh, Crossbred, and Hunter Breeder. He was Champion Half Welsh at the Penn MaryDel Welsh show, Reserve Champion at Howard County Fair, and was awarded Reserve Championships by both judges at the Maryland State Fair. Ringo Starr finished the season 6th in the nation for the WPCSA Half Welsh Geldings (all ages) and third for the Southeast Region. He was Reserve Champion for the Maryland Pony Breeder's year end awards too.

The Directory has been published yearly since 1982 by Equine Travelers of America, Inc. and horsemen from the U.S. to Canada swear by it.
